Farthest Home was a body of work featuring two distinct halves: a reading room with books, and room with sculptural book and handmade paper objects. These two halves referenced each other. The central piece of the show was a book of hand-drawn, intricate sumi pages; the imagery of these drawings was found in physical, 3D form throughout the exhibition.
This body of work was a dream-like response to a search for the idea of home, which has been an ongoing theme throughout my life and work.
